Just a few days after reporting Man of Steel 2 might have found its director, there are now rumors that Warner Bros has put the project on permanent hold.

It is speculated that the decision was fueled by the desire to make room in the already crammed DCEU line-up for more Batman movies, involving Ben Affleck.

While sources close to the fire are reporting that George Miller is indeed in talks with Warner Bros to direct an upcoming DCEU movie, for now it does not seem to revolve around the stand-alone Superman sequel.

At the very least we can say that Superman fans should still get their fair share of Supes in the upcoming Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice and the Justice League movies.
