A big Max Payne fan, Patrick Streutjens started writing news and articles for PayneReactor in 2003. After the retirement of the site’s founder (Kristian Hollund) he’s the current owner, designer and sole writer of PayneReactor. Streutjens was born on the 4th of September in 1991 and has a career at computer manufacturer MSI as an International Marketing and Communication officer.
The coming of the IndieGoGo campaign for Max Payne: Retribution was teased multiple times by writer/director Leroy Kincaide on twitter this week, but today it finally went live! The Retribution crew is in dire need of some funds in order to complete the film. Funds are needed for stuff like props, to hire various locations such as factories, bars and apartments and to cover Kathy Tong’s travel expenses. The crew is aiming to collect around $12000. In its first hour, the crew already managed to gain around $800 dollars. I donated about 40 dollars myself.
Should you decide to support the fan film by donating some money, the crew has lined up some exciting perks for you. From signed DVD copies to fully fledged Max Payne themed photoshoots. Some backers are even given the chance to make some decisions in how scenes will turn out!
But there’s more. Much more in fact. Click here if you’d like to find out all the details or watch the campaign video on IndieGoGo. Payne is coming!
