IMGN.PRO announces Kholat on PS4. The most terrifying journey of your life will have its PSN release on March 8th 2016.
The date of this Playstation announcement is not accidental it’s exactly 57 years since the infamous Dyatlov Pass Incident, which served as the main inspiration during the creation of Kholat.
It was the event that took the lives of 9 Russian students, hiking the Ural Mountains, on the night of February 2nd 1959. The real cause of this tragedy is still unknown, with many hypothesis arising during the years.
Kholat is the first game developed by independent studio IMGN.PRO, inspired by true events known as the “Dyatlov Pass Incident”. Players will follow the path of a group of Russian students, that went for an expedition in the northern Ural Mountains. The team does not reach its goal, the entire crew dies in mysterious circumstances.
In Kholat the Player is thrown into the area where the tragedy occurred, years after the actual event, with a chance to discover the real course of the tragedy. Atmosphere of anxiety is dosed based on what the player is doing, making each gameplay a unique experience.

Kholat is already available on Steam and has received mixed reviews on the platform. Nevertheless, Kholat has received Game Connection Europe 2015 Development & EGB Awards in two categories: Best Desktop / Downloadable and Excellence in Story & Storytelling.
Kholat will release on March 8, 2016 for Playstation 4 and is already available for Windows PC and Mac on Steam.
