In collaboration with Xbox, Bandai Namco for a limited time offers those who pre-order Dark Souls III via the Xbox Store a free digital copy of the original “Dark Souls”. This free copy will be instantly playable on the Xbox 360 and on a later date on the Xbox One, via Backward Compatibility. The free digital code for Dark Souls will be sent via the Xbox message centre 7-10 days after the initial purchase.
Bandai Namco also announces a Dark Souls III Season Pass and a Deluxe Edition for Dark Souls III on all platforms. More details on both the Season Pass and Deluxe Edition will be revealed closer to Dark Souls III’s launch.
However, it’s rumored that the “Dark Souls III – Deluxe Edition” pre-order includes the main game and a Season Pass. The latter includes new maps, new bosses, new enemies, and new weapons and armor sets. In addition, the Season Pass will also feature two DLC packs. The Deluxe Edition costs $84.99 and will release on April 12.
Dark Souls III will release April 12, 2016 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and pc.
