You will face Death, and it won’t be pretty… Death will come without bug fixes and important patches. Bandai Namco has released an official statement regarding the Japanese and international release of FromSoftware’s upcoming masterpiece Dark Souls III.
As you may or may not know there are multiple ways for Dark Souls fans to play the game before its big international release on April 12th. However, according to Bandai Namco those who play the game before its international release will have an incomplete experience.
Bandai Namco’s official statement:
There is some confusion surrounding the Japanese and international release of the game and we would like to clarify this:
The full functionality and experience of Dark Souls III will not be available for international players until the launch on April 12th. This is due to planned bug fixes and important patches such as online gameplay that will be implemented on client and server side.
This doesn’t mean you can’t play Dark Souls III early, you’ll just have a less pleasant experience. Now, to end this message here’s the awesome “Accursed” –launch trailer – for Dark Souls III, yes we posted the Japanese version earlier this week, but we love this trailer.
Dark Souls III will launch April 12th on Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
