Ain't no thing like me, except me. I am 50% of the awesome people behind this website. I enjoy writing about my deep love for (J)RPG's, fighting games, and Destiny. Really do not like Call of Duty and Battle Royale games. Absolutely love Sushi and Burgers.
The wait is finally over. Kombatants on PC will finally have access to Mortal Kombat XL’s enhanced online beta. Download it now from steam and get your freak on.
NetherRealm Studios have been working behind the scenes updating Mortal Kombat XL on PC. When the studio began their enhanced online beta process to test their new GGPO like netcode, PC users were left out. NRS would later confirm that the title’s XL update would only be seeing a release on the Playstation 4 and Xbox One versions of the game, forcing PC players to miss out on the return of The Pit stage, new costumes, system and character balance changes, four new characters, and a completely revamped online infrastructure with the Studio’s new rollback-based netcode. Fans have been eagerly waiting for some Mortal Kombat Xl news for a time now, and it looks like the Studio held their word.
Earlier today, NRS announced that for the next four days, they will be hosting an MKXL Enhanced Online Beta for Steam, which will allow PC players to finally experience the current version of the game that can be played on consoles, with the four new kombatants and rollback netcode fully implemented, as well as some other new features and changes.
Anyone can play the MKXL Enhanced Online PC Beta for free and experience the enhanced rollback system and other updates made for PC players. Download now to play the Beta before it ends on August 29th at 10am PDT.
Participants will receive an invitation next week to participate in a Beta survey. The team will be paying close attention to your feedback, so please be as candid and as detailed as you can be!
