Ain't no thing like me, except me. I am 50% of the awesome people behind this website. I enjoy writing about my deep love for (J)RPG's, fighting games, and Destiny. Really do not like Call of Duty and Battle Royale games. Absolutely love Sushi and Burgers.
Sony has launched a new video series called, Playstation VR Developer Diaries. The first of the five-part video series, which glances back at the project’s early days is live now.
I’m not the biggest fan of Virtual Reality and the Playstation VR is no exception. However, the PS VR dev diaries are pretty interesting and seeing how this technology will take over the world is still truly amazing. I’ve had some experience with VR and PS VR and I couldn’t recommend it to anyone – my colleagues would disagree with me on this. The technology is pretty awesome, but it feels more like a gimmick and the games coming to VR are just not my type of games. I liked Batman: Arkham VR and I’ll have to say that I’m looking forward to Tekken 7’s VR features. That being said, those who are interested in VR will have a blast with Sony’s new video series.
The series is going behind the scenes with the teams behind PlayStation VR, charting the headset’s journey from its earliest prototype stages right through to its impending launch. The first video, which you can watch below, glances back at the project’s early days, while future installments will look at how development teams have harnessed the headset’s innovative display, 3D audio and intuitive control inputs to create truly immersive gameplay experiences.
New episodes will arrive regularly over the coming weeks and we will keep you posted on all of these videos and other Playstation VR news and more.
