Ain't no thing like me, except me. I am 50% of the awesome people behind this website. I enjoy writing about my deep love for (J)RPG's, fighting games, and Destiny. Really do not like Call of Duty and Battle Royale games. Absolutely love Sushi and Burgers.
E3 has kicked of and EA has shown their new EA Originals title, “A Way Out”. The game is a couch or online co-op only game where you play the role of one of two prisoners in a daring escape over and beyond the prison walls. It looks interesting and could arguably be the best game of their E3 show.
While A Way Out looks definitely interesting at least it also worries me that it can only be played as a couch or online co-op only. I like the fact that EA is willing to try new things, or at least invest in new and interesting material. The game promises to offer something for everyone – may it be lean back or intense gameplay moments, action, adventure, exploration, puzzles, chase, stealth.
Below you will find the game’s gameplay reveal and EA’s official description for the game. A Way Out will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC via Origin in 2018.
What begins as a thrilling escape quickly turns into an emotional adventure unlike anything seen & played before. A Way Out is a two-player experience. Each player controls one of the main characters, working together to escape the prison and continue beyond into each character’s lives.
It is a game that explores the notion of trust, companionship and facing up to consequences.
The narrative keeps you on your toes, offering a fresh, unique and compelling experience throughout. Get a unique look into the character’s personal lives and their driving motivations through their interaction with others as strong cinematic moments tie the plot together and propel the characters forward through their journey.
