Bandai Namco decided to expand the original capacity of the FighterZ beta, and the good news is you get to sign up for it very easy.

Bandai Namco announced that their Dragon Ball FighterZ beta will run from September 16 to 18. The delayed beta comes after Arc System Works had  revealed Piccolo and Krillin to be included in the game’s roster, the second nice surprise in one weeks time! Since we believe this will be an awesome title, – and maybe even the best fighting game of 2018 – we would like to encourage you to sign up for its Beta. You’ll be among the first to play the game and be able to help the dev team polish the game before shipping. How do you ask? Just keep on reading below and enjoy.

Sign-ups, which were previously announced to open on July 26, have been moved to August 22 in order to expand the capacity of the closed beta in an effort to enable more players to participate. This includes bolstering background systems to ensure the closed beta registration and selection process can accept the volume of anticipated sign-ups.

Sign Up and Beta Times

This does not affect Japan, however, whose sign-ups for the PlayStation 4 closed beta opened today. Simply get a Japanese PSN account and download this free application ticket for your chance to participate. Beta dates for Japan have yet to be announced.
We still would like to give you more information about the timings of this Closed Beta. It will occur on September 16th and 17th in Europe at the following hours (timings are subject to change):

  • 1st session: 11:00-14:00 (Saturday)
  • 2nd session: 19:00-22:00 (Saturday)
  • 3rd session: 3:00-6:00 (Sunday)
  • 4th session: 22:00-1:00 Sunday/Monday

Bandai Namco wants players to be able to enjoy the game at its best and include more than the previously announced 9 characters in this Closed Beta, as well as a portion of the Lobby. As a reminder, the Closed Beta will be available on PlayStation 4 and XBOX ONE platforms.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is due out worldwide for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in early 2018. Check out more at Bandai Namco or here for more details.
