Gods & Monsters is a new Ubisoft game and announced during its E3 press conference. Why do the Gods turn to you for help in desperate times?
The world of Gods & Monsters is highlighted in the trailer below. Gods & Monsters is set in a world of Greek mythology and is being developed by the makers of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, Ubisoft Quebec. Several people describe Gods & Monsters as an RPG in the style of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and I hope the team in Quebec will achieve that level of quality.
It will therefore not surprise you that the game takes you to Greek antiquity and the associated mythology. As a player you are a hero who is located on the Isle of the Blessed. There a dangerous monster managed to defeat the Gods. It is up to you to turn this Typhon off and put the Gods back where they belong.
During that adventure you will encounter different enemies based on Greek Mythology. In addition, there are various dungeons that you can enter, where you must solve puzzles. And all that in a world that looks wonderfully cheerful.
Gods & Monsters is made by a team that released one of the best games last year. That is always good news. In addition, it is a game that does something else which we appreciate. And to be honest, it is hard not to be happy with the title when you see the different images.
At this time details are short on gameplay specifics but I am confident we will be able to tell you more after GamesCom 2019 in August. So stay tuned to the Ubisoft website and here at GameGeekz for more on Gods & Monsters!
Gods & Monsters will be released on February 25, 2020 for PS4, PC, Stadia, Switch and Xbox One.
